Google apparently is not interested in making its Chrome browser accessible to screen readers. This is the same company that decided to discontinue its 800-GOOG-411 free directory assistance service which was very popular with blind users. So obviously, they just don't care.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Jaws and Google Chrom accessibility

Hello dear listers,
I asked this question before, yet it wouldnt have been considered worth answering i guess, so that i wanna pose it again: does FS think of any accessibility support for Google Chrom? it has been around 2 years that Chrom got released, yet we as blinds stilll got restrained to 2 browsers, FF and IE. There are faster competitors in the market, like Opera and Chrom, never the less as of today, we are unable to use them.
Regards
