yes nicely explained I have just altered my columns. There was a little
confusion at the view button though.
I dont believe FS have looked at this at all yes so hopefully when they do
it should be good.

okay, give this a try;
I'm assuming your using the latest version of windows live mail, 2011.
1, open windows live mail;
2, press the alt-key, you will probably hear;
home tab, right arrow until you hear;
view tab;
3, now to change the columns for example,
down arrow until you hear;
arrangements sub-menu,
right arrow to open,
and now down arrow until you hear;
sort by, and press the spacebar,
you now can arrange the columns,
another thing you should do is,
again, go to the menu,
right or left arrow until you hear;
view tab,
and down arrow until you hear;
layout sub-menu, right arrow to open.
now, you need to press spacebar on,
message list;
now, tab until you hear,
one line view,
and check with the spacebar,
you will then be placed back into your inbox, of windows live mail.
also, you can use the f6-key,
and press until you hear mail,
now, you can arrow down and enter on a particular choice.

OK Graham, something is really amiss here because I'm finding it difficult
to:
1) rearrange the columns in the header page
2) send replies (or any compose any e-mail)
Which version of JAWS are you using? Perhaps that's the difference. I
find no appreciable relief when switching to JAWS 11 over JAWS 10.
