Jackie. I feel the same way as it seems like just about the most basic step 
in trouble shooting a problem but many on these lists seem to freak out and 
jump right to their hard drive needs reformatting. Rebooting is always a 
good first step. Actually, I tell them to first unload then reload jaws as 
it causes tons of these weird behaviors.
