There may also be some security options set in OE that prevent u from
activating links. Go to tools > options & control tab to the security
page to fix those.
It is ill-advised to click on links contained in emails, though lots
of folks do it--including me sometimes. Obviously I am very reasonably
assured the link is safe. Try copying & pasting into your browser. If
that works, then suspect OE options are preventing u from doing this.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] the download link will not activate from
withinoutlook express;
For some reason when I enter on the download link from within an email
in outlook express the link will not activate. Specifically I'm trying
to download a book and when I enter on the download link for the book
jaws says the link and then nothing happens. I have checked with
sendspace and I am logged in okay. I did remove goggle chrome and the
goggle toolbar yesterday; could that have caused this? Any help will be
appreciated. thanks,
Dan
