Dan, if you are reading through an email and each link is reported to you as a link by your screen reader then you are reading in HTML. For example if your scree reader says "link" when it reads http://google.com then you are reading in HTML. I still think (and I have seen this before) that there is no default browser set so a download (or any other) link cannot be opened from within an email. Usually running "Set program access and defaults" from the START menu and setting IE to the default browser is enough to fix this, although others think otherwise. Frank
