[Blind-Computing] help using K-Lite Codec media player

Hello, I noticed that you can make the speed of the media go real fast or 
real slow by control up and down arrows.  But it makes it to fast or to 
slow.  How can you control how fast you want it?  I wanted to listen to my 
audio books with the media player but, not that fast!  I tried several 
commands but they did not work accept for control left and right arrows for 
rewind and fast forward, control up and down arrow makes it either speed up 
or slow down, control space is pause or play, up and down arrow control the 
volume  and page up and down let you go by tracks.  Any ideas?  Thanks
