Cliff,

I can put about 25 30 minutes MP3 files (592 MB) on a 80 minutes CD recorded as a data CD. I think that you can add a few more 30 minutes MP3 to fit the CD.

I too listen to old time radio from the Big Broadcast on WAMU FM from American University in Washington DC. The Big Broadcast is aired on Sunday night from 7 to 11 PM. the web site post the broadcast as an archive for the week. You can go to the following site to check it out for yourself. (I record the archive using Replay AV which takes about 55 minutes to record and convert to MP3.)

Take care,

Lennie

Hello, Dan:

What would that come down to in terms of number of files, and hours?

I've been downloading old time radio programs, offered in MP3 files.
How many of this sized file can I get onto a CD?
