U don't provide sufficient info, e.g., what the error msg is, the name of your router/modem, your operating system, what you're trying to connect up, etc. W/o basic information, it's simply impossible to know what's going on, though I'm making a few educated guesses in my head, which I won't share because they could serve merely to muddy the waters in the event I'm incorrect.
