Are you sure they are not older video formats like .AVI? ISO is really an
archive format rather than a video format. If he actually has one or more
video files inside an ISO container (not sure why one would do this), you
will want a program like Ultra ISO or Magic ISO, or any other tool that will
let you extract or copy individual files out of the ISO container file. In
a way, it can act much like a zip file. Except, normally, it provides no
compression. It is most useful to exactly mimick the structure of a CD,
including a boot sector. It does not mimick DVD movie disks, however.

Yes. My ex-husband gave me an external hard drive containing two folders.
One labeled MP4's, which held movies. The other folder was called "my
iso's", and was filled with ISO files of other movies. As they are now, I
can't play them, or really do anything with them. As I said, I looked up
how to convert them, and I found tons of programs, as well as tutorials,
but
haven't been able to make them work with JAWS. The only reason I care is
that some of them are movies my kids would like me to put on their mp3
players.

Mellissa, frankly, you're comparing apples & oranges here. ISO files
are "image" files that are burned to a cd. MP4 are video files. So,
what is it that u really want to do? What do u currently have, & what
do u want to have?

Try googling for format factory. You have to route jaws to pc for 99%
of the way but its duable.
