Well, that's how I use it, etc. - but just make sure you have like the
latest version since according to their newsletter, it will shortly not
necessarily be a free set of tools anymore, and they have in the past done
updates as youTube's content changed a bit.

Generally alt + D will focus on address bar, with URL selected, so you can
then just ctrl + C to copy it to clipboard.
