If you're using something later than around jaws 9 etc. (I think) when you hear the notification area type popup/tooltip, just hitting the mouse click key - numpad / key within something like 2-5 seconds should sort of automatically click on it for you.

Alternatively, in windows 7, I think you can type something like activate in the search box on the start menu popup to find activate windows, etc.

You might need your activation key as well though - generally a sticker on the packaging, or stuck under laptops by most hardware guys this side.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Computer wanting me to register windows

Hi
I am having a trouble with my windows
7. I had the windows vista upgraded to windows seven about a year ago.
Since then life has been pretty good. Suddenly it has started telling me
there has been a hardware change and that windows needs to be registered.
Well, non of the hardware has been changed. Also, it says that I should
click here to register. However, after looking every where with the JAWS
curser and using insert plus f 11 to bring up the most likely place to
find a clickable update. I am unable to find any way to register the
software. The notice says I have two days left. What should I do?

God bless,
Mark
