Hi how you do this is to go in to skype then go to tools with alt t then arrow up to options then arrow down to addvanced settings then press space on that. then tabb over untill you see something that says allow access to other programs using skype press space on that then tabb again and it will give you a list view. in that list view of programs skype talking will be the first one. tabb over to it and then tabb once again and it will say yes i want to use this program with skype and then make shure that that is selected then tabb once again over to ok and you are good to go. from Mich. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jo Luland" <jolul...@verizon.net>

Hi,
Please explain what you mean by giving Skype permission to connect. I have two computers - Windows XP and Windows 7 and I've downloaded the latest version of Skype on both. Thanks for your help.

hello there;

in order to use skype talking, you need to give skype permission to connect its self to the program,
as for which version of skype?
which operating system are you using?

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Help with skipe

Hi I would like to ask what versions of skipe do other blind people use? I had the newest version of Skipe running on my laptop at home, but had to unenstall because I got a virus threat as well as it wasn't very blind-friendly. Someone told me to use Skipe-talking for Jaws and I tried enstalling it, but for some reason it doesn't work properly. I wonder if I had the wrong skipe enstalled. What is the most blind-friendly Skipe out there? I'm also on the hunt for any audio tutorials with Skipe as it's t he way I learn best. I would though be glad for any advice. Thanks from Lori.
