Dear Friends, I am using XP-Home, JAWS 11 and Outlook Express 6.XX, which has always worked satisfactory. However, lately for the past couple of weeks, I cannot "Compact" my Deleted Folder. All the other folders, the In Box, and all the other Folders I have created to have my message rules send emails into "Compact" fine. However, when I try to "Compact" the Deleted Folder, I get a critical stop wav sound, then a message saying "The folder is in use by Outlook Express or another application, OK"
Even when I just first open up my Windows, and go directly to Outlook Express, without opening any other Folders, I get this situation. And when I try to "Compact All Folders" from another folder, I get this message also. I can however as I said "Compact" each of my folders individually. Anyone have any ideas what is causing this?
