In Sounds control panel pick the external card from the list and hit the
applications key. Down arrow to the make default choice and press enter.
Then in JFW set the internal card as the one you want JFW to use.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Using Jaws on an onboard soundcard

Hello all,

I have two soundcards one being a Creative labs X-FI and one being an
onboard RealTech.

I want to be able to use Jaws on the onboard RealTech soundcard and
leave the Creative labs X-FI for all my audio playback and recording.

When I check the soundcard options within Win7 Ultimate 32 both
soundcards show they are enabled and in use which is definitely the case
as all the sounds switch from my X-FI with the speakers connected and
turned on which is my default soundcard to the RealTech.

So needed to know and or find out do I need to disable the RealTech
soundcard so this doesn't happen when plug in my extra speakers have to
use on that card and if so will that stop the problem from occurring
where the RealTech soundcard becomes the main or default source which
happens when plug the other speakers into the onboard soundcard with the
main speakers still hooked up to and connected and turned on for the
X-FI.

So hope made some since of the situation so someone can possibly help
and or assist me with this matter and or issue.

Thanks.
