I apologize for a simple question.
Once I have VLC installed and I want to play a DVD, CD or, pics on a CD,
listen to the music on the PC's MP3: how to I do this.
If I put a disc in the drawer, would the VLC automatically come up?
If I am on the web and want to listen to a tune will there be an option to
open the VLC instead of the jukebox popping up?

I don't use windows media player for anything as such, since I don't like
it's (lack of) interface.
Specifically, for DVDs etc., I would use VLC media player, since it lets
you bypass DVD menu screens etc.:

I would like to know that as well. I wish I knew how to get Jaws to read

friends, I'm just about to pull my hairs out.
I want to play a dvd using windows media player.
but I an't get past that litle musical thing that starts off the dvd.
it's not the actual show. it's just a piece of the theme.
Can someone help me?
