It may be the combination between both office versions. When I've been searching this question of having 2 different versions of MS office, it was
clearly stated that problems may acur. Maybe this is one of this problems.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] TOO MANY PROGRAMS STARTING ON MY COMPUTER

I have Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit.
When I try to use Outlook 2003 in conjunction with Word 2007, the system
locks up and the only way to get out of it is to restart or use Control
Alt
Delete and manually close one of the programs.
I looked at Task Manager and I have a lot of things starting that I don't
want or need.

1. How can I get some of those programs off of the startup list?
2. Is there a known incompatibility between Outlook 2003 and Word 2007?

I have 4 gig of RAM and 500 gig of storage.
No way that should be happening.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
