Hello Friends,
Well, most of us know by now Mike (In Arcadia) is a reincarnated "Merlin The Magician", and Wow! are we lucky to have him on this list and other lists!
He is always willing to go out of his way to help so many folks!
His clear and always precise instructions to problems and issues are no less than incredible!

Of course there are several folks we owe our thanks to, including David, owner of this great list, and I would like to do so in this message.

Hi Mike:
Thanks. The exact steps was what I exactly did a while back but when trying
to do this drag and drop thing earlier this weekend, it did not work for
some reason but I just followed the steps you outlined and it worked how
weird. I mean I did the same exact thing earlier this weekend and it did not
work but today it did. Oh well, thanks!

Hi Kimsan;

Yo dude, drag & drop this into your notes folder! LOL

Use the key strokes, (CTRL+INSERT+NUM PAD SLASH) for Drag and Drop .
This is used to drag items from one location and drop them in another.
Position the JAWS Cursor on the item you wish to move and press
CTRL+INSERT+NUM
PAD SLASH. You can leave the JAWS Cursor active, or you can switch to the PC
Cursor. JAWS will keep speaking as you navigate. Once you have positioned
the JAWS or PC Cursor in the location to which you would like to move the
item, press CTRL+INSERT+NUM PAD SLASH again, and the item will be moved to
the position of the active cursor.

Hope this helps. Take care.
Mike

 Subject: [Blind-Computing] drag and drop

 Good morning bunch:

I am using the latest jfw. I managed to perform a drag and drop once but I
cannot remember how i did this. Example, lets say I have a list from one
to
six of shows to burn onto a dvd. I look at the list, and the last eposode
is
at the top of the list but needs to be at the bottom because 1 comes
before
 six you know?

I'm burning stuff using windows movie maker and when I select my files and
when double checking the list it shows 6, 2, 3 4, 5, 1 and six is not at
 the bottom.

I performed a drag and drop to move six down to the bottom of the list but
lol as I said I cannot remember how I did it. I know the keystroke but it
said something the pc or jaws curser needs to be at the dropped location
or
something like that. If someone can post steps on how to do a drag and
drop
using the example I am working with that would be awesome.

 Thankyou.
