Do you have flash installed in your web browser?
While I can't test/try out google voice due to my geographical location -
all it does is tell me that they don't offer it this side - I sort of assume
both of those are most likely using an embedded flash object to play the
sound.
In other words, if you go search for a video on something like youTube, does
it play the result if you then choose to have it played?
Stay well

Subject: [Blind-Computing] can't get audio captcha working on some sites
Hello everybody,
For some reason I can't get the audio captcha to play on a couple of sites
that I'm trying to sign up for an account. Other sites I've tried work
just fine.
I'm having the trouble on Google Voice and EBay.
Is there some sort of setting I need on my computer to get it playing?
I use WinAmp as my default media player, Windows Explorer 7, JAWS 8 and
Windows XPPro Service Pack 3.
Thanks for any help or ideas.
Ken
