I got a 64 bit computer with windows 7. One of the things I don't
like is I can know longer use outlook express. I switched to outlook but I
can't get my outlook express contact list. I was told I could find it out
there but I don't know how to do that. I also have to use nvda. Leslie

Subject: [Blind-Computing] 32 bit versus 64 bit

Hi all. Well the subject pretty much says it all.
I am currently using a desktop 32 bit computer running Windows XP.
I am now contemplating purchasing a laptop 64 bit machine and am wondering
if Jaws 12 will work with it.
I am also wondering what the advantages are of using 64 versus 32 bit.
Will i be able to transfer my addressbook to the new computer though the
laptop will not have Outlook Express?
Will my mp3's created with the 32 bit machine work with the new computer?
I would probably also get Windows 7 Rprofessional edition as opposed to home
premium.
If interested, here are the specs on the computer I'm thinking of
purchasing.
Thanks.
