Thanks mathew. I kind of figured it was some sort of courtesy thing and did
not think it was that big of a deal. I'm just gunna rid of it.

I think it is just a courtesy folder Microsoft sets up. Kind of like the my
music folder. I don't think it would hurt to get rid of it.

If a folder in the "my documents folder " was named "my stationery," I would
guess that it held files to create special letterhead stationery.  However,
you state that the folder in question is named "my stationary" so I couldn't
guess what that is used for.

Hint: "Stationery" refers to writing paper & envelopes and related items
whereas "stationary" refers to items that don't move about.

I have a folder called my stationary in my documents folder is this
important, if so why?

It has items in there such as: blue tiles.jpg, bubbles.htm etc. I am
assuming they are pictures for my desktop if so desired? So there is no need
to keep this right?
