I would avoid that approach until you are sure of the filenames. Typically, there are at least two hidden files per folder. I can't remember the exact names. They seem to stick to a standard nameing convention, "Folder.jpg" and a series of files like "AlbumArt__Large.jpg". Let me see if they shoed up again in my podcasts folder where the sighted wow over the cover art.

OK, not too sure those album art files will show up too easily, but, if you're sure they're there, and really wanted to delete them, without seeing them as such, I would do it from the command line, by starting the command prompt, navigate to that parent folder, and then type something like the following:
del *.jpg /s

On the other hand, you better be 100% sure you want to literally delete each and every JPG file in the current folder, and all subfolders - sorry, and FWIW, the /s tells it to handle subdirectories as well, so you also better make 100% sure you've navigated to the right subdirectory as such - on windows XP machine you could right click on a folder and tell it to do something like start a command prompt there, but nowadays you'll have to start command prompt from either run dialogue - cmd.exe - or from start menu search, and then use the change directory - cd - commands to get there.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] let me try this again: hidden album art files

In all of my music folders, I am told that I have album art files that I cannot see. How do I find them and delete them and keep the mp3 files I have on here? I am running Jaws 11 and Windows Vista. I assume these are hidden files. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Wayne
