Hi there; I use Mcafee; I have had it for years and my computer has always
been protected; however, it is terribly unaccessible. I had to get someone
to set the time I wanted to scan because I couldn't. I, too, know that
there are other programs out there that are accessible but my computer has
been protected so I haven't changed.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Recommendations for Accessible antivirus Software
Hi.
I know that it's preferable to look at which security program is better
rather than which one is more accessible, but sometimes our choices for
choosing antimalware or antivirus packages can be limited.
I know that AVG and MSE are very good regarding screen reader
accessibility and they're not bad programs either. However, I'm wondering
if other well-known programs have good accessibility. I'm thinking of
Mcafee, Avast and current versions of Norton.
David
