Gerald,
Do you use Revo to delete Internet browser tracks or junk files? This is
really the access issue I'm seeing; the uninstaller portion works quite
well
and presents no problems with screen readers.

I don't understand what the problem is. I use Revo Uninstaller with JAWS
9,
and except for having to tab back to the Revo window once in a while, it
works well and seems to be pretty accessible.

It sounds like a very politically correct attempt. I did get this program
to
work somewhat. You have to do a lot with the jaws cursor. At least if
your
using jaws lol. I don't know about any other ones. I left clicked on one
of
the graphics. I took a shot in the dark and it worked. That was for
uninstalling.

Here is my response from the producers of Revo Uninstaller. Not sure
what
to think about this but they did at least get back to me within an hour
of
my email.

Hello,
thank you very much for your feedback! We really appreciate it!
We are sorry for the inconvenience!
We have been reported for such problem about a couple of users before and
we
know that there is a incompatibility issue with the screen readers. The
reason is because we use a specific user library interface and for the
moment Revo Uninstaller is not fully compatible with screen readers.
We will look how to improve the accessibility on Revo Uninstaller and
screen
readers in the future versions of the program.
If you have any further questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate
to
contact us!
Thank you!
Best regards,

Hi.
I am a blind computer user and have recently discovered your Revo
Uninstaller program and I really like it. I use it with screen readers,
which verbalize what is typed as well as allowing the user to review
content
on the screen using the keyboard instead of the mouse. There are many
screen readers available, but my primary one is a free, open-source
product
called NVDA
www.nvda-project.org
The uninstaller portion of the program works very well. I can navigate
through the list of programs and uninstall them, accessing all of the
dialogs. My problem with it is that the other functions are almost
impossible to access via the keyboard, such as the tools button, Hunter
mode, etc. Once the tools panel is activated there is no way to navigate
through the options using the keyboard unless I am missing something.
Could
you implement a menu system using standard menu or list controls which
would
then allow screen reader users to fully utilize this program?
Thanks so much for all of your work.
