What is the battery life of the pacmate?

It depends what you use it for.
I use a Pac Mate, and find it very useful
In my job I visit people. It is nice to have the PM instantly on when I
want to read something, and I don't have a screen flopping around.
It's easy to carry around, and the battery lasts many times longer than a
laptop battery.
For taking notes and leading meetings, it works as well as a laptop would
for me, and again, I don't have to wait for it to boot up.

What are the advantages of having a braillenote or pacmate, verses a
laptop
with jaws on it? to me, the pacmate and braillenote are pricy and I'm just
wondering if a laptop with jaws would serve me just as well. thanks,
