Everything's a-okay, Mike.

We are back to where we were.

Thanks for your help, as always.

Hi Cliff;

The follwing information is for XP & Outlook Express users. You didn't say
what operating system or email client you are using.
I'm not quite sure I understand your problem. Are you saying that when you open an email folder that Jaws goes to the bottom of the list & you have to
arrow up to read your messages? Or, are they in reverse order of the way
you normally read them? If you have your messages sorted so that normally
the newest emails are at the top & the oldest messages at the bottom do the following to make sure that something didn't change in your Sort By submenu.
1. Press Alt + V, for the view menu, arrow down to the, Sort By submenu, &
press enter.
2. Arrow down the list to make sure that the Received & Descending options are checked. Having these 2 options checked sorts the messages by the time
received, with the newest at the top.

If Received & Ascending are checked this will sort messages by the time
received, with the oldest messages at the top.

If, ascending, is checked & you want, descending, checkedarrow to,
descending , and press enter to check the box & take you out of the menues

Hope this helps. Take care.
Mike

Up until five minutes ago, my new messages would read in the downward
direction

 Suddenly, they readupward.

What did I do, and how do I reverse this strange reversal?
