Hi,
That's true it really sounds like Windows 98 resolution, however if a video
device driver "is corrupt" that is exactly the reslution that pops up.
I had this effect, when via "add/remove" programs remove the "video
intercept" of JAWS 12, I mean I had sach a case.

Nikolay

Hi Nickolay,
The screen resolution that you gave sounds more appropriate for Windows
98.
I believe the recommended resolution for Jaws and Windows XP, is 1024 by
768,
that is what I have been using since XP came out.

Hi,
I think what goes on with you, is that your video adapter drivers are
corrupt. To make sure what I say is true, please check the
current screan resolution, it should say 640 x 480.
If so, please reinstall your video device drivers, (do it with care, if
you are absolutely sure you may handle that), than reboot the
machine and than start dealling with JAWS.
That description is for Windows XP, if you are running Vista or Windows
7, you screan resolution may differ than 640 x 480, but should be the
lowest possible.

Nikolay

Listers,
Okay, I blew it this time
I was having problems with Jaws so I uninstalled everything including
the
mirror display drivers in device maniger. I reinstalled Jaws at least,
three times but I'm getting a message saying, some thing like, the
mirror
display drivers need to be repaired. So, how is that done? I've
rebooted
the computer as I was told by Jaws to fix the problem, but thatdidn't
fix
it. That too, was done several times. This is Jaws12 I'm dealing with,
and
I did a full repair by installing the latest build of Jaws, and still
nothing!.
If anyone knows how to fix this, please, tell me. Jaws isn't quite
right
with out those mirror drivers.
Thanks to all!
Carliss
