I am in the midst of IT Essentials and entered with little to know ggeek knowledge and learning a lot. They also have what is called CaviCasts, which are couple hour demos on various applications and etc. One recent demo was done by one of the developers of NVDA who came in for Q&A and various walk throughs, another was a demo by blind users of the incredibly affordable multi-track recording software Reaper, other sessions were things like discussion of backup methods and apps, use of effects in sound recordings, and a range of topics. Its worth checking out. http://www.cucat.org/about/courses.php Courses are very reasonable, I could have paid for them already for work I had done just prior to my starting this class. You can also email them for more info at cavii...@cucat.org Thought some might like to know.
