Dear Mike and Friends,
Here is a easy way to find your Cookies, written up by Gene.
It is what I did and was very easy to find my Cookies this way!

The problem I have is which ones, that I do not know what they are for specifically do I get rid of?
- - from Gene:
I will briefly tell you about one method, which I've never used. I'll
then tell you about another method, which I have used. I don't know if
there are advantages in using either method. If you ask on the list for a
comparison, you may find out more information. The method I use takes
some extended explanation.

Here is the brief description of the first method.
If you open the run dialog and type the word cookies, then press enter,
you will be placed in the cookies folder and see all of your cookies.
If you backspace once, you can then type the letter c to find the actual
folder. Copy it to the clipboard and paste it somewhere else as you would
when copying any folder. You will then have a copy of all your cookies.
At least, that is what I would expect to be the result. I've never done
it.

Alan again:
But I did this, and backed up all my Cookies, 243 of them on my external Drive.
Some of course I know what they are for.
For example: Alan@FTP-1212 is a For-The-People Chat Rooms setting.
And then for example
Alan@Sendspace 3234c is a Sendspace Cookie, well, do not want to get rid of that either.

But some are weird, like Alan@Winterproducts1a1a, never heard of this one.

You get my drift?
Well, how do I figure out what some of these Cookies are?

With Best Regards,
Alan

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Cookies folder is missing

Hi All;

I don't have a cookies folder showing in either my All Users or My Name
folders, even though I have hidden files / folders showing. It does show in
my Default Users folder but, this folder doesn't appear when I do not show
hidden files & folders. Is there a way to add a cookies folder to My Name
folder? I am running XP Home, IE8, & Jaws10 latest. All help will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care.
Mike
