Hi Cliff, I think you mean that your windows aren't maximized. To check press alt + spacebar, for system menu, arrow down to maximize, if it says unavailable, I think this means that the window is maximized. Hopefully someone can shed more light on this if I am wrong. Hope this helps. Take care. Mike

Cliff that happens with my xp at times also. It does this, and this is just my own thought, when it is loading a page. Just wait and if after a short bit it doesn't load just windows m to the desktop and alt tab back into it. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Trish Sent: Tuesday, June 14, 2011 3:50 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] More active windows? Maybe try windows D, the windows M doesn't seem to work much for me anymore either and I'm still using xp too. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cliff Smales" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 14, 2011 3:33 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] More active windows? > Mike: This is a long shot, and a hell of a long shot, at that. > > Could it be that my windows aren't opened wide enough? > > If that's the problem, how, by which keystroke, do you fix it? > > Cliff > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Mike & Barbara In Arcadia" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, June 14, 2011 3:15 PM > Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] More active windows? > > >> Hi Cliff, >> >> I was thinking that Jaws was just loosing focus & pressing Alt + tab >> would >> bring you back into focus on the website but, that doesn't sound like the >> problem.
