This is true. in windows there are usually many ways to do the same thing.
No one way is the best.

He could also using your example after hitting the applications key simply
arrow down to send to sub menu. Right arrow and simply arrow down to desktop

create shortcut. Then hit enter.
I was providing the shortcut command in my first message to prompt
independent thinking as a person feels better when they figure something out

for themselves in my experience.

Hello David and all. That will not do what he wants. That will just open it
grin. What he needs to do is go into start menu then programs. Then go into
accessories and then arrow down to wordpad. When it is highlighted hit
applications and up to properties. When in here he can up arrow to
properties and hit enter. Then control ttabb to the shortcut tab.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] cannot find word pad to make shortcut

Hi,

Since I started on my new XP with JFW 11 I have not been able to find the
.exe file for wordpad to make a shortcut to open a new file. Are there any
suggestions?

Likewise, I am not able to find the HJ pad to use it. I am really short of
new files.

Thank you.
