Hello,
I am totally blind and I have been a subscriber to XM Radio for several years. I have made do with the receiver that was originally provided. The receiver allows me to preset stations and after gaining familiarity with the unit, I can "get by" with it. My problem is that the receiver seems to be on its last legs. The new control unit sent to me by Sirius/XM Radio has a touch screen that is very complex and is not appropriate for a totally blind person to use. Is there a place, person to ask or anywhere that I can talk to somebody that will understand what is needed?!? I would like a receiver that gives audio output; meaning that the entries are echoed so that I know what command that I am giving. Also, finding somebody to look at my present receiver and either knowing how to repair or modify it would be great. I don't know if your site would be appropriate or if another venue might be the one. If you can help would you please tell me how and where to ask my question. If not, please give me your best guess.
