hello Larry
I have as the subject box states changed the text contained within it.
thank you to both yourself and Mathew for replying.
what I actually wanted was one level for everything.
for instance an m p 3 file plays a lot louder than a CD that the really not interested blind society send out. the m p 3 files can be heard 2 doors down while the CD'S I have to be virtually sat on the loudspeakers. so I wanted to know if there is a volume level that will play everything at the same level unless I press f7, f8 and f9.
how did you get on with Maggie's netbook?

Yvonne

You MUST change the subject else no-one will check the message for the
latest question you ask in your mail!

In Windows Media Player use Press the Alt key and then right arrow until you
come to the Play menu then go down and there should be a Volume control
there.

If that is the wrong menu then it will be on one of the other menus.

Sorry I don't use WMP that often.

Yvonne

Tab to your contacts.
When on the contact you need to amend press the Application key
Up arrow to Properties
This will leave you on the General tab
Do a Control+Tab to the next tab and then tab to the detail you wish to
change.

If you have WLM
Go to the contact list by many ways
I usually use:
control 3 and enter on the one of the list you wish now tab to contact tab
and enter this is where you can edit
