Hi. Thanks. I double checked, and I made all those changes already. I especially wanted to be sure that reading Payne view was disabled.
But get this. Remember I said when I hit enter on a folder, it didn't automatically focus on the email list view for that folder? Well, go figure, out of nowhere it now does. LOL. I didn't make any changes recently that would have prompted it, but it now behaves as it used to before, which makes me happy. NO more tabbing around constantly when I go from folder to folder. Anyway, I'm going to hang on to those instructions in case I forget. Those are definitely good settings to make in Outlook for a JAWS user. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of John Justice Chris, David has it correct, I believe. That reading payne is probably in the wrong location. There are notes on that in the Jaws Help files under Outlook. The reading payne should be at the bottom or off if that's possible. We don't normally use the "To Do" bar so that should be off as well. See if that works and then let us know. I reinstalled Outlook 2007 and so far it's working great, no more annoying "not responding" problems. However, I'm attempting to have it displayed as I had it before, but I'm stumped on how to get it the way it was. For one thing, I had it set up where as I arrowed down the list of sub folders I created, when I hit enter on the folder I wanted, it would go directly to the list view with the emails in it. Right now, I hit enter, then I have to tab several times to get to the emails. I know I made a change but for the life of me can't remember what it was. Seems like I also was able to get rid of some extra things so I didn't have to tab around so much. Anybody have some thoughts on that? I'm looking around under View on the menu, and I'm trying different things but hadn't found what I'm looking for. Anything to make Outlook 2007 a bit more JAWS friendly. Thanks.
