Hi Sharon,

I am running XP but, you can give this a try.
1. Open Internet Explorer8, & press Alt + T, for tools.
2. Arrow down to Manage Add-ons, & press enteror, just press the letterA, to
open Manage Add-ons after you press Alt + T.
3. When Manage Add-ons opens you should be on, Toolbars and Extensions, tab
1 time to a combo-box, you want Currently loaded add-ons highlighted.
4. Tab 1 time & you will be in a list view. Arrow up or down to select /
highlight the add-on you want to work with. Each time you highlight an
add-on, Jaws will read the name of the add-on & will also tell you if it is
enabled or disabled.
5. To enable a particular add-on, with the disabled add-on selected, tab 3
times, Jaws will read enable, press the spacebar so, Jaws reads disable. If
you want to enable other add-ons, shift + tab 3 times back to add-on list
view, select another disabled add-on, tab 3 times, & so on ...

After you have enabled all the add-ons you are going to, tab to close &
press enter or spacebar. Hope I haven't confused the hell out of you! LOL
LOL Hope this helped. Take care.
Mike

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Enabling Add--ons In Internet Explorer 8

  Hi all!

I'm trying to run Internet Explorer 8, with Windows 7 and Jaws
  12. When I went into internet explorer, I got a message that the
add-ons are all turned off. But when I went into dialogs to "Manage
add-ons," I get confused and can't seem to select the correct
option. . What do I need to do?

  thanks!

  Sharon
