It takes some getting used to, but it's not bad.  If you use System Access
as a screen reader, however, the menus will not speak but they do with NVDA
and JAWS I think.  To open a menu, you press the alt key and afterward down
arrow.  It's been a while since I've used it, but I think the first time you
open the menu it always says tools or something.
