Hello,
I found the answer. I forgot to move the finish marker to the end of the
music. When I moved it , everything was ok.

Subject: goldwave mixing question
Hello,
Today I've started using GoldWave audio editor. I'm using it successfully
for my needs, but there is something that really annoys me at the moment.
I want to mix background music with forefront voice using the voice over
effect. Please don't confuse it with Apple's voice over screen reader.
The music track is around 4 minutes long. I have copied it few times to
match the speech length which is 22 minutes. I place the start cursor at
the 16th second, but when I choose some preset or try to make my own
adjustments it does something odd. It shows 0 seconds remaining and 100%
done in the status bar, but continues for a few more moments. As a result
after the end of the first copy of the track it continues with background
silence instead with the music. It sounds this way till the speech is
finished and then continues with the second copy of the music track. It
seems like a part of speech is mixed, but the rest of the voice is
strangely inserted against all logic. . I'm not sure if some setting or
adjustment has to be made.
I've only lowered the music volume by 50%, resampled it to 96000 KHZ to
match the speech sample rate and nothing more. It's strange because I've
done this few times with some small voice tracks successfully and without
any problems.
So if you can enlighten me it would be great.
