Seven megaAnything equals 7000 kiloAnything.

Are you certain they claim 7 megabytes and not 7 megabits?

It takes 8 bits to make one byte.

hello
on Friday BT come to rewire the outside green boxes along the road and do
some work here in my home.
I am having fibre optic fitted and BT'S super fast infinitive or whatever it
is called.
now does anyone on here use this fibre optic stuff?
and are they with super fast infinitive
if they are what is it like compared to normal internet usage which I have
at the moment.
and just how fast is it?
I am told upload speed will be 7 megabytes per second.
is this fast or slow?

and how many kilobytes would 7 meg be
thank you
Yvonne
