Larry, ok, so how do you do it then? I have a yahoo.com e-mail address, and
I don't believe it's possible.
Cheers

Sorry to say but it can be done I set someone up last week with a yahoo
account.

And the settings are:-

EMAIL - YAHOO

.Select Tools | Account Settings... from the menu in Outlook.
.Go to the E-mail tab.
.Click New....
.Make sure POP3 is selected.
.Click Next >.
.Type your name (what you want to appear in the From: line of messages you
send) under Your Name:.
.Enter your full Yahoo! Mail address (e.g. "[email protected]") under E-mail
Address:.
.incoming server is pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk (this might be different depending
on what yahoo ending you choose i.e. com etc) .outgoing server is
smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk (this might be different depending on what yahoo
ending you choose i.e. com etc) .Make sure POP3 is selected under Account
Type:.
.Click More Settings ....
.Go to the Outgoing Server tab.
.Make sure My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is checked.
.Leave Use same settings as my incoming mail server selected.
.Now click Next >.
.Click Finish.

Hope this helps

The first thing we need to know is if you paid for pop access or not as of
yet. It's only $19.99 a year.
