Hi Mark,
Dropbox works just fine on a mac. I use Dropbox on my Macbook, my
iPhone and my PC. Some of the status bar items on the Mac are difficult to
view but as for using the dropbox for sharing files or personal storage or even
the public link all works great on the mac.
Once you finish setting up Dropbox on the mac you will find the dropbox folder
in the finder under the desktop .
One other thing, be sure to send her a invitation as if she accepts it you both
get additional storage space. If she just sets it up from the site she will
miss out on the additional storage. If anyone wants a invite to Dropbox let me
know and I can send you the invitation.
