Hi Jason, Below are a couple of notes I have saved regarding saving favorites. Take a look & hopefully they will help.
The safest way to move Favorites into a folder (I assume you mean IE favorites), is to use the Context key or Shift-F10 to add them one at a time. First, focus on IE and launch your Favorites list, Control-I. To create a new folder, hit the Context key, arrow down to Create New Folder and hit Enter. Once you have created a folder, focus on a Favorite you would like to add to this folder and hit Context key. Arrow down to Cut and hit Enter. Now, refocus on the folder and hit Context key again. Arrow down to Paste and hit Enter. The selected Favorite will be added to the folder. Repeat these steps for each Favorite you wish to add to the folder. This may seem a little more complicated than using Windows shortcut keys, but you are less likely to screw up along the way and lose a Favorite. I always use this method to add Favorites or Feeds to folders. Remember that you can use the Undo command, Control-Z if you make a mistake. HTH. Gerald Mike, I suggest that you do all the moving and creation of new folders using MS-Explorer and not within the context of the favorites organizer in IE. Go to your Documents and Settings folder and then open the one with your user name or perhaps just "user" if you've not configured one. In that folder you should find a folder "favorites". Open it and you should see all your favorites and any folders already created. You can easily create new folders and move favorites to them and clean up. I find it much easier than using IE's favorites organizer. Dave Hope this helped. Take care.
