This doesn't work for every icon in the system tray, unless there's a menu,
for example, not to start when computer starts.

If the steps do not work which I sent,
Yu could also stop it from showing in the system tray, by going into the
msconfig startup page, and uncheck the box for scan copy control program,

While you are on what ever you want to get rid of just hit the Apt.key & 
arrow to delet then hit the space bar or the enter key.
