Hello Jerry, If he created the forms in MS Word, or another word processor, ask him to just email it to you as attachments and you could edit them, filling it out, in the same program and email it back to him.
If you have to scan the hard copy, Kurzweil has a feature to scan a form, which makes provision for the edit field, which you can fill out in Kurzweil and either print, or email the completed form. With another OCR program, you'd have to either directly scan into a word document, or scan and save to which ever program you want to use, complete the form and email or print it. How would I scan these into my computer and have them saved so I could fill them out? Since there are no genealogy software applications that work with JAWS, I have to get creative, as we all do from time to time. Thanks.
