I am glad that you have such good luck with the OCR. I was wondering,
do you know of a way I might test my installation to be sure it is working
properly?

Yes. It is excellent! I use it all of the time with VMware. If a
guest OS loses speech or I am setting up a new Virtual Machine with an
OS that does not have an accesible installer it is indispensible!
I have also used it for Video overlay type applications, which were
previously totally inaccessible, like DIRECTV2PC.
However, I have not had much luck with most Flash objects.
