On most laptops the extra keys on a keyboard, i.e. Print screen, scroll lock and Pause are doubled up on another key and you have to press the Fn key, normally located on the bottom row at the far left and pressed in conjunction with another key will give you back those commands.
It varies by brand but usually the F10, F11 and F12 keys or very close to those.
