Hi Janie,

As I stated in my first post, when I press the application / context menu
key, shift + F10, right mouse click Alt + F for the file menu or any other
keystroke that might bring up properties, a send to option, or a shortcut
option does nothing! What I mean to say all the above keystrokes don't do
anything when I invoke them, i.e, Jaws says nothing, I get nothing! Are
these keystrokes supposed to work in the Start Menu? If not, other than
changing display settings, which I have tried, what can I do to get these
keystrokes to work? Thanks much, take care.
Mike

  Hello
Did you try the application key and up arrow once? to properties
If this doesn't work, then use the application key and up arrow to send to
sub menu and send to the desk top
After getting the hot key then just delete from the desktop?
  Just a thought

  Subject: [Blind-Computing] Windows7 32 Bit, Can't Get Properties

  Hi All,

I am attempting to open the properties of my Jaws shortcuts in my All
Programs folder but, when I press the applications / context menu key,
shift
+ F10, Alt + Enter, the file menu, or do a right mouse click I cannot get
the mentioned keystrokes to do anything. I want to make shortcut
keystrokes
for Jaws12 & 13 but, I would like to make them from the Start Menu rather
than the Desktop. As I would like to do for other shortcut keystrokes.
Am
I supposed to able to open the properties / get access to shortcuts from
the
start menu? If not, other than the desktop, where in Windows7 32 bit, can
I
make shortcuts from? All advice / help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank
  much, take care.
  Mike
