Hi Anna,

  When you open CCleaner there is a dialogue box that says, Check for 
updates..., press enter on Check for updates & it takes you to the CCleaner 
/ Piriform website.  Here you can arrow down & it will tell you if there is 
a update available or if your version is up to date.  HTH  Take care.

  Because CCleaner is not an anti-malware program and thus does not use
  database definitions,it does not need to be updated on a daily basis.  It
  needs to be updated periodically only when program updates become 
available.
