Russ,

Sounds good. I'm using Outlook 2010 and this key stroke only
gets me to the edit menu and I don't see an option for
removing formatting. What is the selection in 2007 that the
e selects?

Thank you, David.

I often remove formatting in Word because I use the Duxbury
Braille
translator. In Word 2007, I select the entire document, then
use the key
tip, alt H E.
This removes all of the prior formatting.
Hope this helps,
Russ

Paste it into notepad first and then copy it back to the
clipboard then
paste it into word.

Hi list.
I have copied some text from a word document I downloaded
from the net.
However, the copied text, still has the headings imbedded
from the original
document. I know this, because Jaws says "heading" before
the relevant text.
Deleting the heading doesn't seem to be working. Is there
anything else i
can do to remove this and any other imbedded formatting like
tables etc?
I am using word 2003, XP home and Jaws 12.

Thanks Jason
