Hi Michael, Windows Explorer is in a category view by default, and when you are focused on, devices with removable storage, you are on the category heading, not the actual drive. If you down arrow, you should come to the external drive, where you can press enter. I personally don't like the category view, for this reason, so I got rid of it.
