Hi list, I seem to have had a virus on an external drive or somewhere in my system, that basically created shortcuts on any removable media I will attach to the computer. After scanning the system and getting rid of whatever virus there was, the result was that the folders on the external drives can't be seen. I know they're there because when I check the file properties I can see that the drive is not empty. Question. How can I restore the folder? I mean make them visible again? And for future reference, what process did this virus use to achieve making the drive appear to be empty?
