Hi
If you go to control panel, sounds, and hit enter. Then when this opens
do a control tab to get to the recording tab. Then tab to the list of
installed recording devices. You then need to arrow to the one you want and
set it as your default.
I hope this helps.
God bless,
Mark

Subject: [Blind-Computing] problems with microphone on windows 7 laptop
Hello Listers,
I am having problems with my microphone. I can't hear the test recording I
make. my machine comes with ID audio or some thing like that and a realtech
sound card. How ever this is not active. I saw it in my ad/remove
programs. When I connect my microphone it says Id audio control panel.
Jaws does not read this window.
Thanks
Michael
